Healthy Dinner Suggestion: Two


Approx 1 and 1/2 cups = 329 calories

• Cook 105g of lean chicken breast (3 servings). Season with cajun spices, 1/2 green pepper, 1/2 onion, clove garlic, 1/2 tablespoon of flour, 1/2 can of crushed tomatoes and 1 tablespoon of reduced fat sour cream.
•Add 113g of whole wheat fusilli

•Chicken is a rich source of protein which is responsible for every body cell function (each 35g serving contains nearly 11 grams of protein).

 Chicken also contains B vitamins which help reduce the chance of age related diseases, contribute to a healthy immune system, assist the completion of metabolic reactions and help regulation of insulin.

 Chicken has high phosphorus content which has many benefits to one’s well-being and health.

•Pasta (whole-wheat) is high in fibre which aids the burning of fat in the body during the breakdown process, therefore it can aid weight loss.

 Whole-wheat pasta is full of minerals and vitamins that will help you towards a healthier heart, cardiovascular system and reduce the chance of certain cancer and other diseases.

• After a meal like this you should be left feeling satisfied and not worried on snacking!
